A survey of 1,200 Aussie investors, 82% say yes!

That’s what PIPA (Property Investment Professionals of Australia) found in their latest Annual Investor Sentiment Survey.

The survey covered other questions such as:

• Do you believe now is a good time to invest in residential property? 
• Will you consider non-major bank lenders for your next mortgage? 
• What state capital do you believe offers the best investment prospects?
• Do you intend to buy in a different state from the one you live in?

What’s more, the proposed changes to negative gearing and CGT influenced 75% of investor votes in the Federal Election:

“It’s clear that many investors, regardless of their political leanings, were fed up with being told they were ‘greedy’ when the vast majority only own property and are just trying to improve their financial futures” – PIPA Chairman Peter Koulizos.

Additionally, the impact of restricted lending has led 60% of the investors surveyed to get finance outside the major banks.
